To request a refund for an unused Personal Genetic Service test kit purchased directly from Geneus, you must notify us within seven (7) days of placing your order through Geneus's online store and confirm that your saliva sample has not been shipped to our laboratory. Additionally, we must receive your unused genetic test kit within thirty (30) days of your refund request.
For genetic service test kits purchased from an authorized third-party retailer, please refer to the retailer's refund policy to determine eligibility. Refunds for kits bought from third-party retailers can only be issued by the retailer and are subject to their return and/or refund policy.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase and processed within 21 business days after our Customer Care team verifies that all refund conditions have been met.
In cases where Geneus approves a refund request, we will refund the total purchase price, less any applicable shipping charges.
For international orders paid in the currency shown on our website, refunds will be processed at the exchange rate effective at the time of the refund request. Due to fluctuations in currency exchange rates, the refunded amount in your local currency may differ from the original purchase amount. Geneus is not responsible for changes in exchange rates that occur after the order is placed.
If you purchased a genetic service test kit at a discounted price, the refund will reflect the discounted amount paid at the time of purchase.
Shipping charges, gift cards, and any additional services provided as part of a bundle or promotion are non-refundable.
Refund requests may be denied if the returned test kit is damaged, incomplete, or otherwise unsuitable for resale.
If your kit is damaged or lost during shipment, Geneus will provide one(1) replacement test kit free of charge. However, this replacement is subject to verification of the claim.
